Nanjala Edible Grow Kit for Kids
Nanjala’s idea engages primary school children (ages 6-12 years) in gardening by guiding them to grow plants from seed to maturity. The aim is to instill environmental responsibility, provide therapeutic benefits, and spark curiosity by showing how food is produced. A sample grow kit—designed with green principles—makes it easy to cultivate short-term edible crops such as coriander, sunflower, and tomatoes. Through this hands-on process, children experience the rewards of nurturing life while learning the value of sustainability. The concept blends education, well-being, and environmental stewardship into a simple, practical activity that connects young learners to nature and its cycles.

Together with the Nanjala Grow Kit, we have created an iGrow App, a plant growth tracker for kids, offering practical guidance for nurturing sunflowers, dhania, or tomatoes. Features include plant details, watering schedules, planting steps, growth tracking, sunlight monitoring, pest and weeding alerts, and educational content about the environment. A QR code on the grow kit links directly to the app.
