AI was not something Teresa Lubano, founder of Nanjala Design, embraced easily.

Then a friend rendered one of her prints, Black Petals, in 3D using AI.

It looked nothing like she had imagined.

It looked better.

That experience opened up a different conversation about what happens when human design meets machine interpretation. Where does the designer’s intention end, and where does the machine begin?
