A friend once told our founder that she did not feel ready to lead in her new marketing role.

Her response was simple: creativity is going to be the career of the future.

For years, coding was considered one of the safest paths into technology. But the ground is shifting quickly. AI is changing how software is built, and “vibe coding”, where people describe what they want and let AI generate the code, has moved rapidly from a niche practice into a mainstream way of working.

So where does that leave creatives?

Our founder believes creativity may be one of the areas where humans retain a real advantage. It depends on nuance, insight, context and judgement. It is not simply about producing something, but knowing what is worth making, why it matters and how it should make people feel.

That makes creativity more than a skill for designers and artists. It is becoming an increasingly important capability across the future of work.

In this piece, our founder makes the case for why creativity, rather than coding, may be the career of the future.
