UndaMeta: Be MetaOrdinary 3D Fashion Showreel

Be Metaordinary Hero Banner by UndaMeta

UndaMeta is a marketplace for African-inspired surface pattern design, linking print designers, fabric producers, and fashion makers in a creative ecosystem.

In 2024, UndaMeta received a Kuonyesha Art Fund (CivSource/CivFund) grant to create a 3D fashion animation and online promotion. The brand worked with The Ken Lab (Kenya) to produce a virtual fashion showreel featuring patterns from 10 UndaMeta designers, and partnered with Rooted Social (UK) for Meta Platforms, Inc. marketing.

In early 2025, UndaMeta launched Be MetaOrdinary—a 2-minute 30-second 3D reel and two Shorts. These were the focus of a February–March 2025 paid campaign promoting their products and services entirely online.

The showreel reimagines African-inspired fashion for the digital age, showcasing both traditional and contemporary patterns on life-like garments without physical samples. It celebrates cultural heritage, supports sustainable design, and helps our designers earn through global exposure and digital licensing.
